UNIF Grim Creeper Review

I recently purchased the UNIF Grim Creepers on Nasty Gal for around $80. The original price was $180 but was on sale for $90 and all sale items were an extra 25% off. On the UNIF website, the shoes are $196. Soooo, that's a pretty damn good deal if you ask me. I ordered them on Sunday, it shipped on Tuesday, and I received it Friday.

First off, Nasty Gal had great service and has a "live chat" option where you can ask the Nasty Gal workers questions quickly and they're super helpful and reassuring. The only problem I had with the company was that the extra spikes that came with the shoes were scattered loose throughout the entire package instead of being in the envelope. I even found one in one of the shoes and all the screws were loose rather than being connected with the screw. I've e-mailed both Nasty Gal and UNIF and am still awaiting a reply. The package did come with a cool poster and sticker though, so that's really neat.

The shoes are very soft and, unlike my Dr. Martens, they are not stiff at all. I walked around in them in my room and didn't seem to give any problems with blistering on my heels. I've heard several people say UNIF shoes run a little big and a few have said the opposite. I am one of the few. These seem to run smaller than my other usual "size 7's" but that's actually quite a good thing. My usual shoes are always quite loose (only because my mom always insists on buying shoes that fit her as well, don't ask why). So if you wear a half size, I'd say go bigger.
I'll post an update on the comfort and wear after some more experience.
